Our destination will be Poros Island. A gem in the Saronic Gulf.

A full day away from Naplio, full of adventure, amazing scenery, and fun!

We start our day by picking you up from the hotel and head to Galatas seaside village from where you will catch the boat that will take you to Poros, just 10 minutes away.

You meet your guides at the port upon arrival and start with a small briefing.

The place: Poros is a small island in the Saronic Gulf, with pine forests, serenity and old-world charm. Once upon a time, two small islands – Spheria and Kalavria – came together to produce a little jewel in the Saronic Gulf, the island of Poros. A place beloved of Seferis, the Greek Nobel laureate, and Henry Miller. A stone’s throw from Galata, on the mainland, Poros resembles a puzzle piece gone missing from the Peloponnese opposite.

The activity: Hiking on the peripheral road of the island. We head to the rst ridge of the island where the chapel of Agioi Anargyroi is located and we have magnificent views of the Saronic Gulf and the canal that separates Poros and Galatas. We continue to hike on the ridge where it heads to the second point where there is a stone windmill from the Turkish occupation. Then we begin the descent through the alleys of the traditional settlement of Poros and stop in a traditional courtyard where we are served local lemonade! We continue at our last station, on the trademark clock of the island. We end by descending on the old port of Poros, where you will have free time to swim or have a meal in one of the plenty tavernas of the island.
